Doane 2025 May Commencement Featured TigersHundreds of students graduate from Doane University every year. For a brief time — usually two or four years — they're immersed in a collaborative, caring environment aimed at preparing them to lead in their community and careers. Below are just a few of the incredibly talented Tigers graduating with a bachelor's or master's degree this May.

Cristian Yanez

Yanez recently completed an engineering internship with the Lincoln Airport where he prepared weekly reports on a new hangar, did pavement ratings on the airport's roads and used AutoCAD technology for hangar drawings. The Mexico City native will be staying in the United States after graduation to take a job with Olsson's aviation team.

Boyd, who currently is a safety engagement specialist at Omaha Public Schools, is on a mission to better his community and remain authentic to himself.

Kasey Dils

Dils will be a not one, not two, but three-time Doane alum when he graduates in May with his master's in leadership. It was a big deal the first time as a first-generation student. It's still a big deal as he said he feels empowered to lead in a variety of education roles.
