What do you hope to do after completing your degree?
Serve and lead those around me regardless of position.

How is Doane preparing you to reach your goals?
The educational leadership program has transformed my daily thinking and learning. I have loved and appreciated all that I have learned to help me meet my goals.

Who has been a major influence for you during your education at Doane? How have they helped you?
Anna Thoma and Teresa Perkins have truly shaped and grown me as a leader. Their consistent commitment to my growth and learning has been unparalleled.

What is something you're proud of accomplishing or achieving while at Doane?
I am so proud of accomplishing the Cadre program because of its rigor and high expectations. As a teacher, leader, wife and mom this journey has been so challenging and rewarding.

What advice would you give to an incoming student?
The workload is significant, trust the process and rely on your instructors and Cadre members to help you grow and transform into a better person.

What's something you like about yourself that other people may not know?
I like that I persevere through tough times and I am a kind and understanding person.

What is something you've really enjoyed about your time at Doane?
I really enjoyed the in person classes and learning from my cadre mates and instructors.
