Doane University's Master of Arts in Leadership is a transformational educational experience that develops skilled, resilient, inclusive and ethical leaders. This program's unique emphasis is on "Living Leadership," a concept that embraces everyday leadership – developing leaders of influence who make a positive difference at home, work, and in their communities.
The Masters of Arts in Leadership curriculum addresses critical challenges today's leaders face in an increasingly complex and diverse world. Not only will students develop a solid foundation in leadership theory, they will learn how to apply their learning in any setting. Students will learn how emotional intelligence helps bridge differences that exist in our increasingly global world. They will develop innovative thinking, decision-making and problem-solving skills. Students will develop the tools to lead strategically, communicate effectively, and help individuals and organizations navigate change successfully.
Note: Courses for the Master of Arts in Leadership program are currently offered via distance learning, where students and faculty meet once a week over Zoom. This modality accommodates students' busy schedules while retaining the benefits of meeting together as a class. The classes offered as distance learning are not assessed a technology fee. In the future, we may offer online classes and those classes will be assessed a $30 per credit hour technology fee.
The Master of Arts in Leadership program requires previous completion of a Bachelor's degree
There is a $50 application fee
