Biology and Health Sciences
What do you hope to do after completing your degree?
I hope to go to medical school.
How is Doane preparing you to reach your goals?
Doane is preparing me to reach my goals by giving me resources and classes to achieve them.

Who has been a major influence for you during your education at Doane? How have they helped you?
My parents and Coach Ed Fye (director of track and field/cross country) because they are always checking up on me and want me to be my best version of my self.
What is something you're proud of accomplishing or achieving while at Doane?
Something I’m proud of is being a team captain here on the track team, while also having good time management between my classes and outside school activities.
What advice would you give to an incoming student?
Meet a lot of people and make friends! Time management is also a big key to succeeding in college.
What's something you like about yourself that other people may not know?
My ability to see the good in others because everyone has good and bad days — that’s what makes us unique.
What is something you've really enjoyed about your time at Doane?
Finding the friends and family that I will be around for the rest of my life, while also playing the sport I love, track and field.
