De'Andre Miller

After attending a junior college, De’Andre was ready to transfer to a 4-year school. He took a leap of faith and traveled across the country to Crete, quickly realizing that he made the right choice. “With a beautiful campus, great facilities, and professors and coaches who go the extra mile for you, this is the place to be. It’s an environment that you can grow in and be comfortable in even if you're far away from home.”

De’Andre initially came to Doane following in his family’s footsteps by majoring in business but he realized it wasn't for him. Looking to change his major, De’Andre knew he wanted to become a filmmaker. At Doane he was able to create his own major and pursue his passion. “I didn't even think that was possible and it elevated Doane to an even higher level for me.”
