What do you hope to do after completing your degree?
Change my community for the better. Being asset wherever I am.

How is Doane preparing you to reach your goals?
I have some great instructors, the flexibility needed to complete the work, and the support to be authentic within this lane.

Who has been a major influence for you during your education at Doane? How have they helped you?
Dr. Teresa Perkins, encouraging me to stay the course!

What is something you're proud of accomplishing or achieving while at Doane?
I'm proud to be one of the few Black Americans who will graduate this May.

What advice would you give to an incoming student?
Challenge yourself, and remember we only bend we never break

What's something you like about yourself that other people may not know?
I love my culture, I love my authenticity

What is something you've really enjoyed about your time at Doane?
This is my second time around and I love the beauty of the process
