Hansen Leadership Program

The Hansen Leadership Program, named after Zenon C.R. Hansen and founded in 1994, has encouraged our Tigers to grow into leaders beyond the classroom. Students in the Hansen Leadership Program develop their leadership skills by mentoring younger students, facilitating leadership workshops, planning campus events, and serving the community.

Service & Volunteer Opportunities

Community service is a regular part of the Doane student experience. Students who serve develop relationships and address needs within the surrounding community, and have opportunities to travel the country while serving new communities.

The man, the myth: Zenon C.R. Hansen

A name synonymous with Doane and leadership, Hansen is Zenon C.R. Hansen (1909-1990). A lifelong learner and supporter of higher education, his Foundation has funded scholarships and leadership-based endeavors at Doane.
