What is Welcome Week

  • Welcome Week is a week-long experience created specifically to help prepare first-year and transfer students for the Doane experience. A goal of Welcome Week is to get you adjusted to what a traditional college week will look like with most major programming taking place from 8 am - 5 pm.
  • Throughout the week, you can expect the following:
    • Get a feel for Doane’s campus and the Crete community
    • Learn about campus resources
    • Meet with your LAR 101 class and faculty member
    • Meet faculty, staff, and current students
    • Participate in fun events, like Halls Ya!, Dine:09, Foam Party!
    • Learn what it means to be a Doane Tiger!
