Education is one of the most important, and possibly the first, big investment of your life. Spend some time researching scholarships as they can be a big factor in financing your years at college.

Thermo Scientific Pierce Scholarship $5,000 / $10,000

To qualify for the scholarship, students must have a GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) and be enrolled in an accredited college for university for the Winter/Spring 2013 semester.

Students may apply for the scholarship through the Thermo Scientific Pierce Scholarship Website.

The Thermo Scientific Pierce Scholarship Program for the Winter/Spring 2013 semester includes two (2) $10,000 scholarships and four (4) $5,000

Rocky Mountain Alumni Scholarship $1,500

Must be a student from the Rocky Mountain area in Colorado.

Specific requirements can be found on the Rocky Mountain Alumni Chapter site.

This is a one-time $1,500 award scholarship.

Out-of-State Visit Grant Up to $2,000

Awarded to admitted applicants outside the state of Nebraska who complete an official on-campus visit before March 1st of their senior year.

Eligible students that visit before March 1, 2013, will receive the full $2,000 grant and those that visit after March 1st will receive $1,000.

This grant is renewable for up to eight semesters.

Nebraska Opportunity Grant (NOG) Maximum Award $3,000

Nebraska resident who demonstrates high need. Limited availability.

Eligible recipient names are submitted to the State of Nebraska's Coordinating Commission of Post-Secondary Education pending approval.

2 full-time semesters or 4 full-time terms per academic year

Ed Pallett Impact Scholarships Varies. Included in the total financial aid package as required by federal regulations and college policies.

Ed Pallett Impact Scholarships are given to students who will make an immediate impact to a program as determined by the coach for an athletic program or a director of a fine arts program.

This scholarship will be renewed according to the requirements set forth by the director or head coach in the area of the scholarship.

Merrill Scholarship $8,000/yr

For transfer students. 24+ hours of college credit and 3.0+ cumulative college GPA

Junior College Graduate Award $5,000/yr

For transfer students. Graduated from a two-year college with a 2.75+ cumulative GPA.

Blue Valley Community Action (BVCA) Partnership Scholarship $500

The "BVCA Partnership Scholarship" will be awarded to individuals planning to attend or currently attending a 4-year college.

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) Maximum Award $2,500

Awarded to undergraduate students who have not earned a bachelor’s degree and demonstrate exceptional financial need (Pell Grant eligible). Funding is limited.
