Financing Your Education

Education is one of the most important, and possibly the first, big investment of your life. Spend some time researching scholarships as they can be a big factor in financing your years at college.

Lower Republican Natural Resources District Scholarship

Applicants must have permanent residence in the Lower Republican NRD. This includes the towns of Cambridge, Alma, Franklin, Red Cloud, and Superior.

Applicants essay, grades, class ranking, extracurricular activities, and letters of recommendation will be considered. Stop by the Financial Aid office to pick up an application.

Buick Achievers Scholarship
  • High school seniors and current undergraduate students
  • Enrolled full time at a 4-year college or university in 2013-2014

Students must be former graduates of Custer County high schools.

American Association of School Personnel Administrators

Applicant must reside in these states/provinces or be currently matriculating at a college or university within these states/provinces: Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, Okl

Application materials will be posted on the AASPA website on February 1, 2013 and must be submitted electronically to AASPA by April 12, 2013.

Board For Women's Ministries

Applicant must be a non-traditional (not directly out of high school) female student.
Applicant must plan to attend a Nebraska educational institution.

Alpha Iota Chapter - Alpha Delta Kappa

The scholarship be awarded to an undergraduate student from Southwest Nebraska who has completed the sophomore year in college in the field of education.

Oregon Trail Community Foundation

Applicants must be a Junior or Senior who is a previous graduate of Scottsbluff Senior High School and is pursuing studies in education or teaching. 

National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents (NAEBA) Scholarship

Must be enrolled in a US accredited post-secondary institution during the fall of 2013.

Lift Parts Express Scholarship

Applicants must be a US or Canadian resident between the ages of 16-21, enrolled for the fall of 2013 with a 3.0 GPA at an accredited university.
