After the 2018 Farm Bill legalizing commercial hemp, the cannabis industry is projected to become a multi-billion-dollar industry by 2023. Doane University’s Cannabis Studies program is designed for those seeking an in-depth understanding of the cannabis industry and providing the credentials needed to enter this new workforce.
Our non-credit bearing certificate courses are available through the EdX portal. All courses are accessed online. You may audit a partial version of this course for free, however, to access the full course and receive a certification of completion you must pay a fee. Courses are self-paced and available at any time.
- No prerequisites or prior knowledge needed
- Students do not need to enroll as a Doane University student
- Students may enroll for all classes or only those of interest to them
- After passing all three courses, students receive a program certificate
- If the student only enrolls for one course, they will receive a course certification accredited by the Higher Learning Commission
