Hello everyone and thank you for looking further into who I am.
I started at Doane University in the position as Office Manager to the Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students in July 29, 2016. Working for the Student Affairs division was a great new experience as I was excited to be part of the very active student scene. I am now working in the President's Office and am the Executive Assistant and ready for this next experience of learning more about what makes Doane work.
Before coming to Doane, I worked at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Center for Brain, Biology and Behavior from September 2014 to July 2016. Most of my experience in higher education was in Academic Affairs at Chadron State College in Chadron, NE, from May 2006 to July 2014.
I was born in Kansas but consider myself a Nebraskan. I married my native Nebraskan husband 38 years ago and raised our three sons, Michael, Mathew and Andrew, in southwest Nebraska.
I firmly believe the following quote, "The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today." H. Jackson Brown Jr.
Thank you again and I hope your time here at Doane has been just a wonderful as what I have experienced.
