The 13th annual Oregon Trail Band sponsored by Doane University will be held Monday, January 13, 2020, at Alliance High School. There will be one band which will be conducted by Dr. Jay W. Gilbert. Fourteen schools participated last year, and we hope you will consider joining us this year. We thank Jeremy Eskam for his willingness to host this event at Alliance High School.
 

In selecting the band this year you will need only to fill out the Nomination and Recommendation form below, one time per student. It is very important that you rank your students from your best students (1) to your least best (2, 3, 4, etc.). I promise to take at least the first and second ranked students regardless of school size. Sight-reading is another important consideration, so please answer both sight-reading questions.

SCHEDULE FOR MONDAY, JANUARY 13, 2020

9:15 a.m. Registration (coffee and doughnuts for attending band directors)

9:30 a.m. Meeting

9:45 a.m. Rehearsals begin

11:30 a.m. Break

12:30 p.m. Lunch

1:30 p.m. Rehearsals resume

4:00 p.m. Break (change clothes)

5:00 p.m. Final concert
