Turnovers Plague Tigers in Loss

Augustana shot 57-percent from the floor in the second half and pulled away from Doane in women's basketball action, 90-73.  The Tigers trailed by one point at halftime but could not slow down the Vikings in the second stanza.

Doane posted a better shooting percentage than Augustana, shooting 46-percent for the game but the Vikings pulled down 23 offensive rebounds and the Tigers committed 27 turnovers.

Lindsay Anderson posted 23 points to lead Doane while adding a team-high three assists.  Hannah Helman added 14 points while Vanessa Munter posted 12 points and four steals.  Amy Fox came close to a double-double, scoring 10 points and a game-high nine rebounds.

Amy Puthoff and Whitney Hofer scored 21 points each for Augustana.
