Tigers To Run in Louisville

For the first time since 2001, both the Tiger men and women have qualified for the NAIA National Meet. 

The men, ranked No. 11 in the NAIA, moved up eight spots from the previous poll after a second place finish at the NAIA Region III meet.

The women, ranked No. 22 in the NAIA, dropped four spots from the previous poll and were one of the last teams to receive an at-large bid to the NAIA meet.

The Tigers are coached by GPAC Men's Coach-of-the Year Brad Jenny.

Representing the Tiger men at this year's meet are:

Sufian Kimo (Norfolk), Colin Johnston (Omaha), Mike Pivarnick (El Paso, Tex.), Ben DeLay (Bellevue), Alan Dreyer (Rushville), Josh Peavy (Wahoo), and Paul Garcia (El Paso, Tex.)

The women will be represented by:

Ashley Noel (Portis, Kan.), Cortney Johansen (Marquette), Kym Bennett (Bellevue), Clare Hoarty (Grafton), Yadira Salazar (El Paso, Tex.), Ellie Windle (Nebraska City), and Viviana Arreola (Las Vegas, Nev.)

The NAIA Championship Meet will be held in Louisville, Kentucky, on November 18.
