Doane added two runs in the fifth. Hincy was hit by a pitch with one down and followed with a pair of stolen bases. He came in to score on a squeeze bunt by AJ Spanel. Mike Albert brought in Schroeder as he reached on an error.

Brull finished out the final three innings by facing the minimum of nine batters as he did not allow a runner.

Spanel finished the game 2-for-3 with a run and a RBI. Mike Korsakas added a pair of hits while Schroeder led the Tigers with two runs scored.
