Tigers Host Mini-Meet

Doane posted three automatic qualifying marks and eight provisional marks at the Doane Track & Field Meet on Saturday.  On the women's side, Kelcey Zutavern and Janelle Weber posted automatic marks while Jared Schuurmans posted an automatic mark on the guy's side.

Zutavern finished third in the shot put with a throw of 41-08.  In the weight throw, she was seventh with a throw of 43-00.  Weber bested her mark from a week ago, jump 37-07.50 in the triple jump.  Schuurmans posted a mark of 50-06.50 in the shot put.

In the women's high jump, Katie Bartels was joined by Michelle Ortmeier and Gretchen Clark as provisional qualifiers.  They jumped 5-03 as they took second through fourth place.  Carly Weisgerber vaulted 10-10 to win the pole vault while Jillian Lans jumped 14-01.50 to provisionally qualify in the long jump.

On the men's side, Michael Railsback hit a provisional mark in the 55 meter hurdles with a time of 8.00.  Nick Thixton finished second in the triple jump with mark of 46-03.50.  Michael Tierney had a toss of 51-00 in the weight throw.
