Tigers Hold Off Concordia in Tight Match

The Doane volleyball team over came a slow and out-of-sync pace to defeat Concordia University in Seward in three games.  Game scores were 25-19, 25-20 and 25-22.  The Tigers were held to a .182 attack percentage.

Susan Rollman carried the work load at the net, posting 12 kills and four total blocks.  Jessy Livers added seven kills for the Tigers.  Kellie Peterson added six kills and three ace serves while Terra Andreasen and Ivie Speer each posted six kills.

Heather Davison posted 21 set assists for the Tigers while Cassie Reicks added nine.

Emily Schwisow led the back row with a game-high 17 digs while Livers added 13.  Doane finished with 63 digs on the day.

Doane will be home on Friday and Saturday for Homecoming, hosting Dakota Wesleyan and Sioux Falls.  The Tigers will take a No. 17 ranking and 19-4 record into play on Friday.
