Tigers Fifth at Hastings, Blackman Second Overall

The Tiger men's golf team put together a pair of strong rounds on Monday afternoon in Hastings and took fifth place in the 16-team Hastings College Fall Invite. The two rounds were played on one day, 18-holes on two difference courses.

Colby Blackman led the way for the Tigers as he tied for second overall with a 151 (74-77). He tied for eighth in birdies with five over the two rounds and was sixth in pars with 21. Blackman ranked fifth in scoring on par 4's with an average of 4.20 strokes while shooting four-over par and was tied for second on par 5's with an average of 4.88 and a 1-under par score.

Cody Gorsett tied for 14th overall for the Tigers with a 157 (75-82). He matched Blackman for average score on par 4's with 4.20 strokes and four-over par scoring.

Colby Enevoldsen shot a 163 (81-82) and tied for 36th while Bo Cribelli posted a 167 (82-85) and tied for 51st. Jeremy Wollenburg rounded out the Tiger participants with a 176 (92-84) and tied for 72nd.

Doane will be in action on September 27-28 as they host the Doane College Invitational at Wilderness Ridge in Lincoln.
