Tigers Drop Non-GPAC Match

The Doane women's tennis team dropped a non-conference meeting with Concordia on Tuesday evening, 8-1. The lone Tiger win came at No. 5 singles. Doane will be off until March 26 when they face Northwestern College to open GPAC play. The match has been moved up from April 29.

In singles action, Donna Pham fell to Colleen Freudenberg, 6-0, 6-0. Jade Patterson lost to Sarah Ebert, 7-5, 6-2. Jordan Lintt dropped her match to Faith Ahlman, 6-2, 6-1.

Candice Crider fell to Lindsea Vaudt, 6-0, 6-0. Cassie Skolnick defeated Mikaela Barz, 6-2, 6-4 for her first collegiate victory. Clara Staudenmaier lost to Katelyn Koll, 6-0, 6-1.

In doubles play, Patterson and Lintt lost to Freudenberg and Vaudt, 8-1. Pham and Crider lost to Kim Francis and Ebert, 8-1. Skolnick and Staudenmaier lost to Ahlman and Barz, 8-2.
