Princeton Review Names Doane to 'Best Midwestern Colleges'

Doane College was named to The Princeton Review's 2008 "Best Midwestern Colleges" on its site.

The designation was given to 161 Midwest schools, including six from Nebraska.

This is the third consecutive year that Doane has achieved this designation.

The Princeton Review ratings include student opinions, college profiles, campus visits and interviews with college administrators. They are based on academics as well as feedback from counselors, students, parents, educators, and Princeton Review staff at locations across the country.

In the student body survey section, students praised Doane's academics, extracurricular activities and strong education programs, along with music, business and science programs. They also spoke highly of the Career Services Office, the campus' close-knit atmosphere and beauty.
