No. 2 Northwestern Too Much For Doane

Turnovers and a low shooting percentage spelled trouble for the Tiger women's basketball team on Saturday afternoon in Orange City, Iowa, as they fell to Northwestern College, 85-45.

Doane committed 31 turnovers and shot 25-percent from the floor in the loss.  They were led in scoring by Vanessa Munter's 11 points.  Nicole Rauner added nine points off the bench.  Brittany Lurz led the team with seven rebounds and Munter added six.  Kristine Ortmeier had a team-high four assists.

Northwestern was paced by Kami Kuhlmann's 16 points as four players were in double figures.  Becca Hurley and Kendra De Jong had nine rebounds each.  Hurley added a game-high five assists.
