Doane fell in men's tennis action on Saturday to Bethany College, 8-1. The Swedes have won seven straight KCAC championships.

The Tigers' lone win came at No. 3 doubles. Mick Steiner and Aaron Haag defeated Gabriel Paul and Carlos Souza, 8-4. In other doubles action, Ross Schulenberg and Sam Tipton lost at No. 1 to Mats Flodin and Shane Huggins, 3-8. At No. 2, Josh Johnson and Chance Hohensee lost 4-8 to Will Wiseman and Fernando Paiva.

In singles action, Schulenberg lost to Flodin, 3-6, 1-6. Hohensee lost at No. 2 against Jack Schoeman, 2-6, 1-6. Tipton fell after a tight first set to Wiseman, 5-7, 2-6.

At No. 4 singles, Johnson lost to Paiva, 1-6, 2-6. Phil Cook fell to Souza, 0-6, 0-6. Steiner dropped a tie-breaker at No. 6 to Matt Stutt, 4-6, 7-5, 0-1 (7-10).

Doane will take on Nebraska-Omaha on Thursday, February 24, at 10 AM, a new start time.
