John Leonard Harris to Share Leadership Message with Students

Doane students can learn about their leadership potential during a student leader dinner and dialogue Thursday, Feb. 4 with John Leonard Harris.

Harris will present "Leadership: It's Your Time" beginning at 6 p.m. in the Kleinkauf Dining Room of the Perry Campus Center.

He served as special assistant to the vice chancellor for student affairs at UNL for many years and helped maintain the presence of underrepresented minority populations on campus. He became a UNL instructor in 2006.

Harris earned a degree in radio, television and film production from the University of Missouri-Columbia, followed by a M.Ed. degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in teaching, learning and teacher education.
