Dominant Tigers Control Prairie Wolves

The Doane Tiger volleyball team faced a hot Nebraska Wesleyan squad on Tuesday night but cooled off the Prairie Wolves right away as Doane won 3-0.  Game scores were 25-16, 25-13, 25-14. 

The Tigers used a potent offensive attack, posting 46 kills compared to eight attack errors.  Doane netted a .388 attack percentage on the evening.  Chelsee Marvin (Crete) led the way with 16 kills and a .600 attack percentage.  She was strong at the net defensively as well, collecting five total blocks.

Terra Andreasen (Bellevue) pitched in 13 kills on a .464 attack percentage.  Jessy Livers finished with nine kills, 11 digs and four ace serves.

Amy Janky (Chapman) collected a game-high 21 digs in her first start at libero in place of the injured Emily Schwisow (expected to return this weekend).

Ashley Sluka (Milligan) finished with a team-high 19 set assists while picking up two ace serves.

Nebraska Wesleyan was led by Abby Bade's eight kills.  Cara Ward added four kills and three total blocks.
