Doane Wins Regular-Season Finale

The Tigers put on a strong showing during their regular-season finale by defeating Dana College 3-0 (-20, -18, -18).  The Tigers finish with a 16-12 mark and will now wait the naming of their opponent for the conference tournament.  Doane will be the No. 6 seed and play on the road.

Seniors Kari Hochstein, Kaylee Lubken and Caitlin Schaffert were honored prior to the contest and made sure their team would end the season on a high note.  Hochstein paced the Tigers with 17 kills and a .667 attack percentage.  Lubken was a perfect 20-for-20 on serve receive, while adding five digs.  Schaffert finished with four kills on the evening.

Chelsee Marvin was the only other Tiger in double-digit kills as she finished with 16.  She added two ace serves and three total blocks.  Emily Schwisow collected 25 digs for the Tigers while Amy Janky added 14.  Ashley Sluka posted 25 assist with Heather Davison adding 24.

Dana was led at the net by Danielle Neville's eight kills.  Nicole Elwood posted 21 assists for the Vikings.

The Tigers will be on the road for the GPAC Tournament.  The opponent will be name late Wednesday.
