Doane, Wesleyan Finish in 0-0 Tie

Doane traveled to Lincoln on Wednesday evening and in cold, wet conditions the women's soccer battled to a scoreless draw against rival Nebraska Wesleyan.  The tie moved the Tigers' conference record to 4-3-1 while Wesleyan moved to 0-5-3 in the GPAC.

The Tigers controlled much of the second half, out-shooting NWU 16-2 but the Tigers were unable to get a shot past keeper Emily Dierks.  Dierks finished with eight saves for Wesleyan.  Her counterpart, Tiger keeper Jordan Ludwig, was just as solid in net and finished with three saves while collecting her fifth shutout in six starts.

Doane will return home on Saturday to take on Dakota Wesleyan in a 1:00 PM match-up.
