Doane College pulled of a monumental win in the programs history, defeating NCAA Division I Air Force Academy on Tuesday evening in Colorado.  The Tigers were victorious 11-1 in seven innings.  They plated seven runs in the first inning before Dexter Spitsnogle took the hill. 

Spitsnogle threw four innings, allowing one unearned run in the game, to pick up the win.  He scattered five hits and stuck out two.  Marshall Carr pitched the final three innings to pick up the save.  He allowed two hits and struck out one.  The Tiger defense aided Spitsnogle and Carr by turning four double plays.

At the plate, Mike Mendenhall and Thomas Frinkman collected three hits each.  Bryan Dutcher added a pair of hits, one a double and the other a triple.  Dean Henson collected three RBIs and scored two runs.  Frinkman added two RBIs for the Tigers.
