Doane Takes Second at Hastings Invite

The Doane men's cross country team posted 60 points and placed second at the Hastings Bronco Invitational. Concordia University finished with 23 points and took the team title with five runners in the Top 10.

Sufian Kimo was the top runner for the Tigers as he placed sixth with a time of 26:06. Paul Garcia took 10th after running a time of 26:22. Edwin Ronoh ran a time of 26:31 and placed 11th.

Scott Ohlson placed 18th with a time of 27:05 and Jarid Holliday finished 19th with a time of 27:19. Tyler Jackman posted a 25th place finish with a time of 27:36 and Jordan Pieper was 26th after notching a time of 27:38. Phil Rohde finished 28th with a time of 27:42.

Jamil Chehade placed 39th after running a time of 28:29. Jory Pflasterer run a time of 29:26 and finished 57th. Zachary Sims ran a time of 29:45 and finished 61st. Omar Fernandez finished 64th with a time of 30:19.

Matt Rosser placed 73rd for the Tigers after running a time of 31:54. Andrew Ohlson was 74th with a time of 31:54 and Ryan Corrigan rounded out the Tiger runners with a time of 34:44 as he placed 80th.
