Doane Takes 17th at Woody Greeno

The Doane men's cross country team placed 17th on Saturday morning at the Woody Greeno Invite hosted by Nebraska-Lincoln. The Tigers finished 404 team points.

Edwin Ronoh led the Tiger attack with a 46th place finish as he ran a time of 26:43. Jarid Holliday finished with a time of 27:39 and placed 112th overall. Jordan Pieper was the third Tiger to cross the finish line as he placed 190th with a time of 29:06. Zach Christensen followed with a time of 29:32 and placed 202nd. Steve Jerina closed out the Tiger point scorers with a 208th place finish and time of 29:39.

Other runners for the Tigers were Jory Pflasterer as he ran a time of 29:52 and finished 219th. Omar Fernandez ran a time of 30:36 to place 243rd overall. Zach Sims placed 249th with a time of 30:43 and Jamil Chehade finished 259th with a time of 31:15.

The Tigers will host the Dean White Invitational on Saturday, September 25, at 10:45 AM. Doane is the defending team champion.
