Doane Places Second at Dean White Invite

The Doane women's cross country team put forth a solid showing at the Dean White Invitational held on Saturday morning in Crete.  The Tigers placed second overall with 47 points.  Nationally ranked Morningside College won the meet with 20 points.

Doane was paced by Viviana Arreola's sixth place finish as she ran a time of 20:06.  Jillian Ourada placed seventh with a time of 20:07.  Jessica Driewer was right behind Ourada and also posted a time of 20:07 and placed ninth.  Yadira Salazar rounded out the Top 10 for the Tigers and notched a time of 20:22.

Lizzie Kolbo placed 16th with a time of 20:46.  Halie Smith finished in 20th with a time of 21:08.  Alex Conrin placed 23rd with a time of 21:20.  Aprill Bodlak rounded out the Tiger runners with a time of 21:41 and placed 26th.

The 2009 meet consisted of six teams and 64 runners.
