Doane Picks up Road Win

The Tiger volleyball team picked up a three-game victory on Tuesday evening in Fremont, dropping Midland University 25-15, 25-18 and 25-15. The win was the 15th on the season for the Tigers.

Doane set the tone in the first set, picking up five of their nine ace serves. Desiree Erikson posted two in the first set and added two more in the third set. Heather Davison and Amy Kreikemeier added a pair of ace serves in the match.

The offense took off in the final two sets as Doane finished with 25 of their 34 kills in sets two and three. Terra Andreasen led the way with 11 kills and a .476 attack percentage. Ashley Axmann finished with seven kills while Susan Rollman and Kellie Peterson posted six kills apiece.

Davison dished out 27 set assists for the Tigers and was second on the team with 11 digs. Nicole Skolnick picked up a match-high 13 digs.

Defensively at the net, Rollman posted five total blocks and Axmann added two total blocks.
