Doane Hosts Ward Haylett Field Plus Meet

Doane hosted their final indoor home meet of the year on Saturday with the Ward Haylett Field Plus Meet. Doane athletes combined to win seven events in the meet. In women's track events, Cami Hasenohr was a double winner as she claimed the 55m and 200m dashes. In the 55m, she posted a time of 7.64 while running a time of 27.32 in the 200m. Alyssa Straube won the 400m dash with a time of 1:03.75. In the field events, Alyssa McDowell won the high jump with a NAIA automatic qualifying mark of 1.64m (5-04.50). Shelby Meier won the triple jump with an automatic mark of 11.27m (36-11.75). Rae Gordon and Tess Moyer hit provisional marks as they went 10.99m (36-00.75) and 10.98m (36-00.25), respectively. In the shot put, Whitney Collins and Kelsee Meissner posted provisional marks. Collins had a throw of 12.76m (41-10.50) and Meissner had a top mark of 12.66m (41-06.50). Collins hit an automatic mark in the weight throw with a toss of 16.25m (53-03.75) and Meissner had a throw of 15.05m (49-04.50), a provisional mark. In men's action, Adam Finley took the 400m dash title with a time of 55.01. Nate Teten won the pole vault with a mark of 4.55m (14-11.00). Brian Hubbert posted an automatic qualifying mark in the triple jump with a leap of 14.69m (48-02.50), giving him the top mark in the NAIA. In the shot put, Chase Trecek won with a throw of 15.38m (50-05.50) and Jacob Clouse finished second with a toss of 15.26m (50-00.75). Both posted provisional marks. Zack Lindsley hit an automatic qualifying mark in the weight throw with a toss of 17.48m (57-04.25) and Clouse posted a provisional mark with a top throw of 16.67m (54-08.25).
