Doane Gets First Look at GPAC Course

The Doane women's cross country team got their first look at Elks Country Club in Hastings on Saturday, the host course of the GPAC Championship on November 8.

The Tiger team finished second behind Concordia University.  Doane collected 57 total points while the Bulldogs posted 39.  Hastings finished third with 62 points.

Tiffany Bence brought home a third place finish with a time of 19:07.9.  Viviana Arreola placed seventh in the meet after running a time of 19:22.5.  Clare Hoarty placed 10th with a time of 19:29.0.  Yadira Salazar ran a time of 19:48.6 and placed 18th overall while Kym Bennett posted a mark of 19:55.8 and placed 21st in her first meet of the year.  The Tiger's 1-5 split was 48 seconds.

Alex Conrin finished 29th after running a time of 20:19.9.  Aprill Bodlak ran a time of 22:05.2 and finished 51st.  Amanda Woodward rounded out the Tiger participants with a  58th place finish and time of 22:33.9.
