Doane Drops Finale to Vanguard

The Tiger volleyball team saw their season end on Thursday morning in Sioux City, Iowa, as Doane fell to Vanguard University in three games.  The Tiger season ends at 28-10 after qualifying for the national tournament for the seventh time.

Vanguard put forth a strong effort both offensively and defensively.  In game one, they were able to set the tempo by hitting .314 compared to Doane's .029.  For the match, the Lions hit .228 while Doane was limited to .103.

Terra Andreasen led Doane with 14 kills and a .297 attack percentage.  Jessy Livers added seven kills and three total blocks for the Tigers.

Ashley Sluka and Heather Davison posted 12 set assists each.

Emily Schwisow led the Tiger back row with 11 digs while Davison and Nicole Skolnick posted eight digs each.
