Doane College Joins The Common Application

Doane College became the first liberal arts and sciences college in Nebraska to join The Common Application for the 2006-07 academic year.

The Common Application is a not-for-profit organization that serves students and member institutions by providing a standardized admission application - online and in print - that students may submit to any participating schools. Membership is limited to colleges and universities that evaluate students using a holistic selection process. Member schools include Coe College and Grinnell College in Iowa; Bradley University and Northwestern University in Illinois, as well as many of the Ivy League institutions such as Cornell, Harvard, Princeton and Yale.

Since its founding 30 years ago, the Common Application has been committed to maintaining a reliable service while promoting equity, access, and integrity in the college application process. This year, Doane joined 22 other colleges and universities, bringing the number of schools participating in the Common Application consortium to 300.
