I got my BA in Biology from Berea College in Berea, Kentucky, and my Master’s in Clinical Anatomy from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.
I am an advisor pre-health students, communicating with pre-health students and professional schools to ensure that students are getting accurate information and individualized application and career planning, as well helping students explore the different careers within healthcare. I also organize the Annual Pre-Health Bootcamp, am the chair for the Health Professions Advisory Committee, and am the faculty advisor for the Health and Medical Occupations Club. I teach Human Anatomy and Cadaver Dissection courses within the Biology Department.
Doane students are bright and motivated, and I find it a privilege to work with them. The best part of my job is getting to see students go on to professional school and watch them succeed in the next steps of their professional careers.
