  Research Interests:

My research interests lie at the intersection of fundamental science and applied engineering—research rooted in physics, chemistry, and biology that can be transformed into real-world solutions. I have R&D experience within academia and industry, as well as several start-ups focusing on technology commercialization.

Some of my past and current R&D projects are:

  • PCR thermocycler instrument and kits for rapid DNA analysis
  • Thermal modulation hardware for gas chromatography
  • Adjuvant technology for increased nutrient uptake in crops
  • Fluidized Bed Reactor for bioremediation of water
  • Solar-powered aeration system for improving lake water quality
