All admitted, first-time, students who demonstrate experience advocating for diversity and equity are eligible to apply |
Students must remain in good academic standing to renew this award for up to eight semesters. |

Lincoln Education Association Retired Scholarship |
This scholarship is for graduates of any Lincoln, Nebraska public high school who will be student teaching next year. |

Thomas Doane Transfer Scholarship |

This scholarship is $21,000 per year for transfer students enrolling for the first time during the 2020-21 academic year. |
3.0 cumulative GPA required for renewal |

Van Hoy Scholarship | $15,000 per year for students entering the 2020-21 academic year. |
The Van Hoy scholarship is $15,000 per year for students enrolling for the first time during the 2020-21 academic year. |
Renewable for up to eight semesters if the student retains good academic standing. |

Senator Hugh Butler Transfer Scholarship | $17,000 per year. |
The Senator Hugh Butler Transfer scholarship is $17,000 per year for transfer students enrolling for the first time during the 2020-21 academic year. |

Teacher Loan Forgiveness Program | $5,000 up to $17,500 |
Loan forgiveness for individuals who teach five consecutive years and meet other criteria. |

Teacher Education Assistance for College Higher Education Grant (TEACH) | Contact Financial Aid for current TEACH grant amount |
The TEACH Grant is available to students who: 1) Â Have the intent to be certified and teach in a high-need field. Federal shortage needs are defined below: |
Please contact the Financial Aid Office prior to applying for the TEACH Grant to determine if you qualify for the TEACH grant by your ACT percentile score or current Doane GPA.  |
2 full-time semesters or 4 full-time terms per academic year |
Federal Direct Subsidized & Unsubsidized Stafford Loans | Determined by FAFSA and grade level. |
Subsidized Stafford loans are available to undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need and are enrolled at least half-time. |
