The CETL Fellows program provides the opportunity for members of the faculty and students to further their own development while at the same time contributing to the development of others by being a part-time member of the CETL staff for a fixed period of time.
CETL Faculty Fellows are provided course release time or an additional stipend to be a member of the CETL staff for a fixed period of time, typically one semester. During that time, the Faculty Fellow will focus on one particular teaching/learning concept or pedagogy (to be decided in collaboration with the CETL staff), participate in a related workshop or conference, and provided a related workshop and materials to the Doane University faculty.
CETL Student Fellows are provided a stipend through work study to be a member of the CETL staff for a fixed period of time, typically one year. During that time, the Student Fellow will assist in the planning and implementation of CETL workshops and shareshops, focus on a specific project related to faculty development (to be decided in collaboration with the CETL staff), and perform other faculty development tasks as needed.
