Doane Forensics finishes 12th at nationals
TEMPE, Ariz. – For the second year in a row, the Doane Forensics team finished among the best in that nation, taking 12th place at the 2014 American Forensic Association’s National Individual Events Tournament (AFA-NIET) at Arizona State University.
Alisha Forbes ’14 (pictured) finished the highest of any Doane competitor. She was a finalist in Informative Speaking and landed in fifth place.
Andrew DeCamp '15 was a semifinalist in Poetry Interpretation.
Director of Forensics Nathaniel Wilson has led Doane to 12th-place finishes at nationals in both of his years with the program. Wilson, a communications instructor, came to Doane from George Mason University.
