Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree?

The Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree is the central or standard degree offered by the college. It's a broad-based program that allows you to explore different areas of study within the arts and sciences base.

The Bachelor of Science (BS) degree is an option if you're interested in a major, minor, or a stronger emphasis in the sciences, mathematics, or information systems technology.

There is no rule or standard opinion as to which degree program is better. The choice between BA and BS in a particular field may depend on career goals. Your advisor will discuss with you any career paths or goals you might have and talk through your options.
