The Masters in Education (M.Ed.) program is committed to giving special attention to the needs of K-12 teachers. Many of the classes offered through our site-based graduate programs in Nebraska are held in K-12 schools across the state.

A student is expected to complete the endorsement within seven years of beginning graduate study at Doane University. Credits taken in the program which were completed more than seven years prior to completion are reviewed by the Dean or Director of Curriculum and Instruction. The criteria for accepting or rejecting these credits as a part of the student’s program are always based on the relevance of the material at the time of review. If the course material is no longer relevant, the student must then retake the appropriate graduate course(s) as part of the endorsement requirements.
