Dr. AnnMarie Marlier is an accomplished leader, administrator, talent developer, program/ curriculum developer, and teacher/ facilitator in face-to-face, hybrid, blended, and e-learning modalities for post-secondary, not-for-profit, and corporate organizations.
Her 20+ years’ experience in higher education includes curriculum/ program development, talent on-boarding and development, curriculum and performance assessment, budget development, strategic planning, prior learning assessment, residence life, student activities, admissions, and teaching undergraduate through graduate courses in variety of subject areas. AnnMarie’s experience also includes progressive management experience (Disney Stores), human services training (Goodwill), and several entrepreneurial ventures. In addition to her current full-time role at Doane, Dr. Marlier also serves as an adjunct faculty member for the Master of Business Administration and Master of Arts in Management programs in Doane's College of Business.
Dr. Marlier holds a Ph.D. in Urban Education with a focus on Adult, Continuing, and HIgher Education Leadership and a minor in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee; a M.Ed. in Adult Education from Carroll University; and a B.A. in Communications, Media, & Theater/ English from St. Norbert College.
