DEI_Circle.pngDoane Dialogue: Practicing Inclusive Leadership

featuring Doane's Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Thursday, Oct. 1 @ 6:30 p.m.

Zoom: https://doane.zoom.us/j/94690770588

Doane's Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion recently hosted a five-part series titled Doane Dialogues: Racial Healing Series. More than 50 faculty, staff, and students signed up for this multi-week series, which provided attendees with a space to reflect, heal, and learn about personal actions they can take now and throughout their lifetime to actively dismantle racism.

Our experts in the DEI divsion have graciously agreed to adapt their five-week format into an hour and a half learning event for our Homecoming 20/20 festivities.

Attendees will be given potential readings prior to the event, with a pre-set list of questions/thoughts provided during the event to guide conversations amongst small groups of individuals split up via Zoom into "breakout rooms," where each cohort will have the opportunity to refect, share, listen, heal, and learn.

This truly inspirational and important event is one that should not be missed. Be sure to register and invite your classmates or friends!
