Begin your Doane University journey by completing our free online application.
Mail your official high school and all college transcripts to Doane. Once we receive your transcripts, your grades, GPA and college credits, they will be reviewed to ensure the necessary requirements have been fulfilled.
FILE & SEND YOUR FAFSA
Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Doane’s school code is 002544.
REVIEW & ACCEPT FINANCIAL AID AWARD
Once we receive your FAFSA information, we build your financial aid package and send your financial aid award letter. Even if you don’t file the FAFSA, it is likely you will qualify for academic and achievement scholarships at Doane. Review your letter, accept the aid offers, and return it to secure your awards.
The tuition deposit reserves your space in our incoming class and allows you to register for housing and classes. The deposit is $200 if you plan to live on-campus and $100 if you plan to live off-campus. You can pay your tuition deposit online, send your payment by mail, or call the Office of Admission (402.826.8222).
COMPLETE AND SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING FORMS
Fax, email or mail the following completed forms to the Office of Admission:
- Housing Application Form
- Medical Forms
- Athletic Health Forms (if you plan to participate in athletics)
SCHEDULE ADVISING SESSION FOR CLASS REGISTRATION
In order to schedule an appointment you must pay your tuition deposit. During your meeting, our advising staff will inform you of the remaining classes you will need in order to graduate and also information regarding your preferred major(s)/minor(s).
During transfer orientation, you will receive your Doane ID and parking permits, along with other helpful information regarding your future experience at Doane.
SEND ALL FINAL TRANSCRIPTS
After the final grades from your current college are submitted following final exams, arrange for your official transcript to be sent to Doane.
ATHLETES: COMPLETE ATHLETIC FORMS
If you’re planning on participating in athletics at Doane University, complete the necessary athletic forms. If you are not currently competing in a sport through the NAIA, complete the NAIA Eligibility process.
