A continuation of the aural and written study of the common harmonic practices of the 18th and 19th centuries. Upon successful completion, students will be able to analyze, notate and identify, both visually and aurally, seventh chords, secondary dominants, borrowed chords, and modulations. Prerequisite: Music 115 or permission, co-enrollment in Music 235. Offered fall term.
