The Leading Edge I
This course is the first of three one-creditycourses to be completed consecutively over threeyterms. In this course students will develop keyyskills to provide dynamic leadership throughyemployee-centered, collaborative coachingypartnerships. The course content focuses on threeyprimary dimensions: 1) the personal dimensiony(i.e., personal awareness/emotional intelligence),y2) the interpersonal dimension (i.e.,yrelationship-building skills) and 3) the coachingycompetency dimension (i.e., teaching andypracticing specific coaching skills). Studentsywill be paired with a faculty coach for a seriesyof coaching sessions and will set goals for theirypersonal and professional development.
