The Electronic Journalism Program

The fundamental vehicle for delivery of electronicynews is the program, in the form ofyradio/television newscast or Podcast. This courseybrings together the elements of electronic newsyfor production of a cohesive whole as newscast,ylong form interview or discussion, combining fieldyand studio techniques. Students plan, edit,yassemble and produce news programs for KDNE andyDoane College Television. Those successfullyycompleting this course will be able to produceyelectronic newscasts in their various forms.yPrerequisite: JOU 105 and 113(JOU 105 may be takenyconcurrently with JOU 315).
