Fred Beile
Beile began his career as the head cross country coach and assistant track coach, assuming head coaching duties in 1973 and head coach of the new women's program in 1979. Fred shares his wish for future athletes (0:33) 20,694 sq. ft. expansion will provide a comprehensive recreation and athletic space to meet the needs of students and our community. |
Bob Erickson
One of the most recognizable names in Doane College athletics is Robert "Bob" Erickson. First a star athlete and then a star basketball coach, Erickson is credited with rebuilding Doane's program. Jonathan Papik speaks on behalf of his grandfather Bob Erickson (0:25)

Al Papik
Elvin "Al" Papik took over the football program at Doane in 1955. He also served as head track coach, athletic director and admissions director. Al speaks about his impression of the new facilities. (0:35)
