      Bob Erickson     Bob Erickson 1962 - 1998   One of the most recognizable names in Doane College athletics is Robert "Bob" Erickson.  First a star athlete and then a star basketball coach, Erickson is credited with rebuilding Doane's program.  Play mp3 Jonathan Papik speaks on behalf of his grandfather Bob Erickson (0:25)

A performance gym for volleyball and basketball competition will be named Bob Erickson Court.

 

      Al Papik     Al Papik 1955-1973  

Elvin "Al" Papik took over the football program at Doane in 1955.  He also served as head track coach, athletic director and admissions director.
